GCT Rajanpur and Islamic Relief Pakistan Sign MoU to Support Needy Students
A significant step towards educational empowerment was taken at Government College of Technology (GCT), Rajanpur, as the institution signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Islamic Relief Pakistan (IRP) to provide scholarships for deserving students.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by a seven-member delegation from Islamic Relief Pakistan, led by Provincial Coordinator Mr. Syed Usman, who formally signed the agreement. Other key IRP representatives included Ms. Shazia Fida, District Coordinator, and the Accounts Officer.
Representing GCT Rajanpur, Principal Engr. Prof. Rana Ahmad Ali, who also signed the MoU, was joined by Mr. Mohsin Bilal Bhutta, Senior Instructor (Retired), and Mr. Meer Dost Fraaz, Accounts Officer.
The partnership aims to offer financial assistance to students who face economic challenges and enable them to pursue higher education without financial barriers. During the event, the IRP delegation interacted directly with students and discussed the scholarship process and encouraged them to take full advantage of the new opportunities.
This initiative aligns with Islamic Relief’s broader mission to break the cycle of poverty through educational support, as seen in their various scholarship programs across Pakistan.
The collaboration will benefit numerous students at GCT Rajanpur and will make sure that financial constraints do not hinder academic growth or professional aspirations.
